Egg Butter Masala Sandwich | American Style

Equipment

  • 2 Bowls for Batter
  • Not Sticky Pan for Cooking

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp green chilli powder
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 Long thin strips of carrot
  • 1 Long thin strips of capsicum
  • 1/2 Grated cabbage
  • Pinch Crushed black pepper corns
  • Pinch Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Butter
  • 2 Bread slices
  • Grated Processed Cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl break 4 eggs and whisk it well.
  • Now Add -
    - Half(1/2) table spoon salt
    - Half(1/2) table spoon turmeric powder
    - 1 Table spoon chili powder
    - 2 chopped green chili's
    - 1 chopped tomato
    - 1 chopped onion
    - Now mix it well and keep aside.
  • Now take another bowl and add the following ingredients :
    Add -
    - 1 carrot julienne(cut Long thin strips)
    - 1 capsicum(cut Long thin strips)
    - 1/2 Grated cabbage
    - Crushed black pepper corns
    - A pinch of salt for taste
    - 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
    - Mix it well and keep it aside.
  • Place a pan on medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter on it.
  • Now dip the bread slices in Egg batter which we have kept made and place it on the pan.
  • Roast both for side for 3-4 minutes of time and now place mayonnaise batter which we have prepared on top of the bread.
  • Add grated cheese on the bread after adding the mayonnaise batter and place the other roasted bread on top of it.
  • Now roast both the sides of the bread for 1/2 minute.
  • Take this into a plate and cut it into half. That's it !!
  • Tasty and crispy egg masala sandwich is ready to serve with tomato sauce or chili sauce.

Notes

Step 1: Break 4 eggs into a bowl and whisk it well.
Step 2:  Now Add

  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 chopped onion

Step 3: In a bowl add long thin strips of carrot(julienne) and Slices capsicum.
Step 4:  Now Add - 
  • 1/2 Grated cabbage
  • Crushed black pepper corns
  • A pinch of salt for taste
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
Step 5: Mix it well and keep aside.
Step 6: On medium flame take a pan and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
Step 7: Dip the slices of bread into the Egg batter.
Step 8:  Roast both for side for 3-4 minutes of time.
Step 8:   Place mayonnaise batter which we have prepared on top of the bread. Add grated cheese on the bread after adding the mayonnaise batter .
Step 9: Place the other roasted bread on top of it.
Step 10: Take this into a plate and cut it into half. That's it !!
Step 11: Serve this crispy egg sandwich with tomato sauce or chili sauce.
