Pakodas or pakoras is an Indian deep fried crispy snack that is made using gram flour or besan. Most of the times pakodais made using onions it will be more crispy than any other pakodas and there are different types of pakodas recipes, you can try with Bread, Allo, paneer,palak,cabbage etc. Usually pakodas are cooked as an evening snack at home withdipping sauce, especially when it is raining (best time to Cook this recipe). Pakodas are very easy to cook and quick foods, most of the times Indians cook while the meals are served as a side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup red pumpkin(bhopla/kaddu)
  • 1/4 Cup besan
  • 1/2 Cup rice flour
  • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  • 1/4 tbsp carom seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

Instructions
 

  • Take finely chopped pumpkin in bowl
  • Add Besan flour to into Pumpkin bowl
  • Add 1/2 table spoon of rice flour in the mixture
  • Add 1/2 table spoon of finely chopped green chillies and Add 1/4 tablespoon of chilli powder
  • 1/2 table spoon of ginger-garlic paste 
  • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • Add 1 table spoon of hot oil
  • Add 1/2 table spoon of salt as per the taste. Mix well all the mixture at least 3-4 minutes
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame 
  • Drop the mixture with your fingers
  • Deep-fry the pakoda in medium flame till to turn golden color
  • Yammee and crispy pumpkin pakoras or pakoda is ready

Step 2: Add Besan flour to into Pumpkin bowl

Step 3: Add 1/2 table spoon of rice flour in the mixture

Step 9: Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame

Step 10: Drop the mixture with your fingers
