
Kara Boondi Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Besan(Gram flour)
- 2 tbsp Rice flour
- 1/4th tbsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1/4th tbsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- oil-as required
- 1/2 cup fried peanuts
- 1 bunch curryleaves
- 4 Garlic peace
Instructions
- Mix besan with all the above ingredients by adding water and smooth, lumps should not present
- Make like thick flowing consistency
- Take besan batter which contains small holes ladle
- Pour drops of this mixture into hot oil with a slotted spoon
- Spread and tap slowly with hand
- Stire occasionally
- Deep fry till the drops become golden and crispy
- Drain to remove excess oil after removing boondi from oil.
- fry curryleaves, peanuts and garlic in oli
- Fry peanuts, curry leaves and sprinkle red bean stew powder and salt (according to your taste) subsequent to adding these blend this to boondi and mix well well.
Notes
Step 1: Mix besan with rice flour

Step 3: Add baking soda

step 4: Mix well with all the above ingredients by adding water and smooth, lumps should not present
Step 5: Make like thick flowing consistency

Step 8: Stire occasionally and Deep fry till the drops become golden and crispy
Step 9: Drain to remove excess oil after removing boondi from oil.

Step 10: Fry curryleaves

Step 10: Fry peanuts

Step 11: Fry garlic

Step 12: Mix fried garlic, curryleaves, peanuts, boondi, chilli powder, salt
